Sketches from Sunday, Sep.30, 2012 (A typical Indian Village dawn/ morning)

Sunday, Sep.30, 2012.

A day when I relax, away from the hectic schedule from office.

This day, I decided to spend my time sketching and I got two sketches within a few minutes.

Here they are.

1) A typical Indian village morning.

Note the hues and shadows created by the morning sun. The village comes to life much early and it is time for the village-folks to go about their daily chores.

Rearing their cattle, carrying pots of milk/ water to their destinations for the grown-ups, whereas it is just staring at the horizon, or in a time machine zone of their own for the little innocent children.

2) Introspection.

Loneliness can be killing. It can throw your life out of gear and create havoc.

Here I try to capture the subject all alone in the dark confines of a shelter, fueling the dark side of imagination.
