Being Positive… In trying times…

Being Positive… In trying times…
We have always been flooded with loads and loads of messages, proverbs and sayings for being positive and bringing in positivity; in turn looking for better opportunities. I guess, this is what motivates us to give that little extra, to take that little extra risk, to go all out and bring a change in our lives.

Remember the Guns ‘n’ Roses song.
Take me down
To the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Oh, won’t you please take me home.
We always look for opportunities and try to get the best for ourselves, our family and our near and dear ones. We always look for the opportunity where the grass is green and always fall for the “The grass is green on the other side”. I will leave it to you for the take on the girls pretty on the other side. Yeah… That’s also true.

In the current situation, we should do our bit for being positive, giving that bit of opportunity for our lives to be safe and ensure for our family, friends too. T ‘is the world of the Coronavirus; taking along humanity with it. Hitting young and old alike, and rendering us helpless. In this hapless situation, I was pondering over the tough times that lie ahead and also in the mood for a bit of painting. Viola!!! I came up with a quick 8 minute sketch on a pondering thought. “Is the grass green on the other side?”. “Are the girls pretty on the other side?”. In fact, it’s no time to think about this. In these trying times, people are yearning to come back home or reach home. This is what prompted me to do this sketch. “Hey!!! Is it safe in my hometown?”.

Wanna go home… Grass is greener on the other side
I really hope so. Doing my bit to garner information and my positive push to people around on Coronavirus through my sketches, my poems and my deeds.
Be safe, Take care. Keep your hands clean…
