Easter Wishes

Easter, the end of Lenten, is the joyous conclusion

T ‘was spent in prayers, fasting, and devotion

in observance, of the Lord’s resurrection

in three days, after the unjust crucification.

For the Lord knew, what was to follow

when on Maundy Thursday, for the Last Supper, he called.

Asking his disciples, forever his path to follow

and be true in their life, lest they befall.

He knew, his fate and his life to pay

for mankind and their sins.

In his heart, he had nothing to say

when to the cross, they led him, without remorse and feelings of sin.

To the sky, he looked, yielding to God, his Father.

His eyes, saying it all.

I did all that you asked me to, Father,

for their sins, am ready to face anything. At your feet, I fall.

Reasons, he made us see, to find truth,

To find at the end of the tunnel, THE LIGHT;

Our lives to him, we owe, in faith and truth

to follow his path. Let’s find enlightenment and THE LIGHT.
